Welcome to Bradburys

Lianne, Annie, Mark, Sarah

Many of our customers shop in store with us in Halifax, Calderdale. However some live further a field and chose to shop with us online. And we would like to take the opportunity to introduce you to some of our team here at Bradbury’s.

Mark
Managing director Mark founded Bradbury’s The Jewellers in 2013.
He is here to help you with anything from fine jewellery to Swiss watches. Having operated in the jewellery trade for many years. Mark is a designer at heart and can help you create bespoke jewellery. Anything from a wedding ring to your perfect engagement ring.

Amanda
Is the other half behind the scenes in Bradbury’s. Runs the day to day enabling the smooth running of Bradbury’s. One of Amanda’s specialities is finding that perfect wedding ring. Amanda is about to go on maternity leave to have her second child, we are wishing her all the best.

Sarah
Has worked the jewellery trade for some years now. Has an extensive sales background having worked with high end watches and fine jewellery.
She is currently working towards a qualification in stone setting having already gained skills in making and repair.

Annie
Worked in high street jewellery and has her finger on the pulse of the latest trends. Knowing whats at the height of fashion is one of her many skills. Annie is our store ambassador for Raymond Weil.

Lianne
Lianne comes with a wealth of experience in the Jewellery trade having worked in the trade for many years. This profession being close to her heart. Lianne specialises in diamonds, Her favourite thing is anything that sparkles.

Harry
Is all things social media. Working with the newsletter and blog as a point of focus, with exciting posts to come in the run up to christmas. Keep your eyes peeled for fantastic new products available to see on all our channels.

Jewellery Repair Workshop

 

Our Workshop

Here at Bradbury’s we don’t just provide you with beautiful jewellery, we also design, remodel and offer  a fully comprehensive jewellery repair service to our customers.

We offer a bespoke service for engagement and wedding rings if you would prefer something more unique to suit your individual style. Each piece is individually designed and hand crafted to your specific taste. This gives you the opportunity to choose your own diamond or precious gemstone, how it’s set and of course the kind of metal you would prefer. Therefore creating something truly beautiful and unique.

Jewellery Repairs and Stone Replacement

If you have jewellery in need of some TLC  we have the skills and equipment to complete even the most challenging of jobs. We work closely with our goldsmiths to provide you with the most competent of jobs. We can estimate for the work with no obligations and deal with the most simple jobs to the repairs that may need more of a skilled eye.  An average repair usually has a turnaround of 5-7 days, more challenging jobs may take a bit longer.

Restoration of Jewellery and Remodelling 

Do you have rings or pendants sat in a drawer that you no longer wear? We can turn these pieces into something unique and that you’d be proud to show off.

We can remodel anything from engagement rings, inherited and sentimental pieces that need modernising. This means the sentiment is still there but remodelled to suit your particular taste. Styles and fashion change over the years so you can still keep the meaning, but in a piece you will now wear with pride. As an example, one of our customers brought in her original engagement ring. This was a tired looking traditional ruby and diamond cluster ring. She was looking to bring it back to life so she could wear it again with fond memories. Previous workshops had told her the ruby had to be replaced, but that wasn’t the case. We took in the ring and re cut the facets back into the ruby. The ring was remodelled into the most beautiful pendant.  The oval red ruby was set in an exquisite 18ct yellow gold setting and surrounded with  12 new round brilliant cut diamonds. It made an absolutely beautiful piece and our customer was absolutely thrilled with the outcome!
